Opening China markets for Sarlin
GreenStream has opened China markets to many Finnish small and medium sized companies. One of the main technology partners at the moment is Sarlin.
GreenStream’s Legal Counsel Karl Upston-Hooper has been appointed to the Board of International Emissions Trading Association (IETA). IETA’s annual general meeting was held today at 2pm in Warsaw during COP19. Mr Upston-Hooper joins the Board for a two year term with immediate effect. “I’m honoured to join the leadership team at IETA and looking forward to working with Dirk Forrister and his team and the other Board members to further the essential work that IETA is undertaking in promoting the role of the market in addressing climate change”, noted Mr Upston-Hooper. In addition to his new role on the Council of IETA, Mr Upston-Hooper currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Business Partnership for Market Readiness, an IETA initiative that aims enhance the potential for workable international carbon trading models to emerge around the world.
IETA is a Swiss-based nonprofit business organization created in June 1999 to establish a functional international framework for trading in greenhouse gas emission reductions. In 2000, it received United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) non-governmental organization accreditation. GreenStream is a member of IETA since 2004.
