Information for Project Owners
GreenStream manages assets on behalf of investors for purchasing emission reductions, or carbon credits, under the Kyoto project mechanisms´ Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Joint Implementation (JI), as well as investments in selected renewable energy projects.
Two investment vehicles managed by GreenStream focus on acquiring carbon credits generated in the post-2012 period of 2013-2020. GreenStream also manages two investment vehicles which focus on acquiring carbon credits generated in the Kyoto period 2008-2012. In this role we have gained experience from all major types of CDM projects and all aspects of the CDM cycle. We are able to prepare or support the preparation of Project Design Documents and other necessary documentation, arrange and support validation and determination processes, assist in obtaining host country and buyer country approval, support verification processes and, importantly, provide market access for creating revenues from the sales of carbon credits.
Leading Expertise
GreenStream has further experience in with developing and financing renewable energy projects such as hydro power, biogas projects and wind power projects. If the project is eligible for green certificate schemes such as LEC, we provide the expertise for the accreditation of plants and other arrangements in order for the project owner to be able to obtain revenues from the sales of certificates.
Our multi-disciplinary staff has experience from working in multicultural environments. We have experts who feel at home, in among others, China, Middle East and North Africa, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.
Thus, if you are developing a renewable energy project, an energy efficiency project or if your project reduces greenhouse gas emissions in some other way, do let us know. We may be able to add significant value to your project by bringing in carbon expertise, carbon financing or other forms of financing.
